MURMURS is a small design studio with one habit: writing things down. For years, certain lines stayed with us — said at parties, on sets, across family tables. Too good to forget, too short for a book. So they became sweatshirts: a line on the front, its answer waiting on the back, where the person behind you reads it.
Then came the portraits — ten AI-generated images, selected and curated by the studio from a larger generated set: the ones that stopped us mid-scroll. Each one was checked before it earned its place here, and no portrait depicts a real person. Each is sold once, to one person. Then it stops existing here. Not a marketing line — the whole arrangement.
Everything is made to order — printed in the USA for US orders, in Ontario for Canada. Nothing stocked, nothing wasted. And nothing says our name out loud, except a small wordmark inside the neck of the US shirts. Only the wearer knows.
